Stochastic Modeling of Perovskite Photoluminescence
Seminar given by Alexandr Marunchenko, doctoral student at the Division of Chemical Physics.
Alexandr will demonstrate the incorporation of stochasticity in the modeling of photoluminescence of semiconductors. Specifically, he will present the criteria for choosing between the classical "rate equation" approach and event-driven stochastic simulations. Using these methods, Alexandr will analyze the photoluminescence dynamics of bulk perovskite semiconductors at low excitation powers, as well as of perovskite nanocrystals across a wide range of power levels. Finally, he’ll share his broader vision on the system stochasticity that extends beyond this specific problem.
