Chemical Physics seminar: Multiscale Crystalline Materials for Photoluminescence and Radioluminescence
Seminar given by Hang Yin, postdoctoral fellow at the Division of Chemical Physics.
Hang will present a comprehensive overview of metal halide crystals and amorphous glasses with diverse structural dimensions for applications in photoluminescence and radioluminescence. By systematically correlating dimensionality, morphology, and radiative properties, he highlights the intrinsic advantages of multiscale crystalline materials in tailoring luminescence behavior. These insights are expected to facilitate the rational design of high-performance luminescent materials for advanced optical and radiation-detection applications.
