Center for Physical and Theoretical chemistry
At the Center for Physical and Theoretical Chemistry research is conducted at the divisions of Chemical physics, Physical chemistry and Computational chemistry.
At the three divisions, fundamental research is conducted in surface and colloid chemistry, materials chemistry, quantum mechanics, wave coherence, quantum dots, structural dynamics, statistical dynamics, quantum chemistry, soft matter, polymers, colloids, and surfactants.
Despite the fundamental nature of the research, there are many applications such as solar cells, computers, medical equipment and technology, pharmaceuticals, and food.
Education
At the Division of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, both basic and advanced courses are offered within the Bachelor of Science program in Chemistry and the Master's programs in Chemistry.
