The Department of Chemistry is a joint department comprising both the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering(LTH). All education and research takes place at Kemicentrum, Scandinavias largest center for education and research in chemistry.

Management at the department of chemistry

The Department of Chemistry (KILU) is led by a board and a management which is led by the Head of the department. The department has a common administration and different councils for; undergraduate education, post graduate studies and gender equality & equal opportunities.

The head of department has executive power and the responsibility for the department.
