Kenneth Wärnmark
Kenneth Wärnmark obtained his undergraduate degree, Master of Technology (civilingenjör), in the field of chemical engineering specializing in chemistry, from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, in 1987.
He continued with his Ph.D studies at the Royal Institute of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Christina Moberg, working with macrocyclic ligands. This resulted in a Ph.D in organic chemistry in 1994. He then continued with post-doc studies at Université de Strasbourg (1994-1996) with Prof. Jean-Marie Lehn, working on ruthenium-N-heterocyclic complexes.
He started his independent career at Lund University as assistant professor in 1996 and he was promoted to senior lecturer in 2000. He became associate professor "docent" in 2003. Since December 2010 he is full professor of organic chemistry at Lund University
