Margareta Sandahl received her under graduate degree in Chemistry at Lund University in 1991 doing her diploma work on enrichment of copper and cobalt at sub-ppb levels using supported liquid membranes.
As a graduate student she studied sample preparation techniques for trace analysis of medium polar fungicides in green houses and in natural waters. This led to a PhD in Analytical Chemistry in 1999. In 1995 she also started teaching and was responsible for courses in chromatography at LTH School of Engineering at Lund University.
After graduation she achieved a full-time teaching position and in 2001 she was appointed senior lecturer in Analytical Chemistry at the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
She is now responsible for all teaching concerning matters in Analytical Chemistry in the Faculties of Engineering and Science at Lund University.
