Current research interests:
Liquid phase microextraction in hollow fibers is a novel and very efficient extraction technique for trace analysis of organic compounds and metal ions in a wide variety of samples, currently mainly environmental, but also biological and food samples. This technique, which to a great extent was originally developed here, is described in more detail here.
Extracts must be analysed using advanced analytical techniques, why all types of chromatography, as well as GC-MS and LC-MS are important research interests.
