Axel Persson

Research

Main research interests includes transmission electron microscopy for analysis of engineered nanostructures and catalysts, especially using electron tomography (including reconstruction techniques such as SIRT, DART and Compressed Sensing ET). Microscopes used at nCHREM are:

  • Hitachi 3300S, image corrected E(S)TEM with MOCVD capabilities
  • JEOL 2200FS, Cryo-(S)TEM with tomography capability
  • JEOL 3000F, analytical (S)TEM
